Scott was an avid water skier and frequently went skiing with friends. In 1987, Scott and his family moved back to the Monticello area where Scott continued to work as a union electrician. He became a union electrician and was also certified to weld at nuclear power facilities. Scott took electrician and welding courses and practiced both trades. Their two children, Brannon and Carla were born in Aurora. ![]() They moved to Aurora, Illinois in 1978 so Scott could attend the union electrical school. Scott married Robin Holloway of Jackson in 1977. He graduated from Jackson High School in 1976. His grandparents, Carl and Agnes Burkhart, lived on Jackson Lake and Scott and his family moved nearby when Scott was in the eighth grade. He was born in Illinois on April 12, 1958, the son of Verna and Richard Cobb. Scott Cobb passed away at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin on Mafollowing a brief illness. ![]()
